What If You're Already Walking in Your Purpose?

What if I told you… you already are?

Where God has you right now is not random.
It’s on purpose and with purpose.

You are not the author of your life in the way you may think.
We like to believe we are in full control, that we’re writing every detail of our story, but that belief can quietly become a burden.

Because when things don’t go according to our plan, we start to feel like we’ve failed.

But what if it was never about your timing to begin with?

When you release the pressure of controlling everything and remember that God does not fail, you begin to see things differently.
This may not be your timing, but it could very well be His.

When we think about purpose, we often imagine something big, a career, a calling, something we were created to do.

But if you’re not the one holding the pen, how can you be so sure that what you’re doing right now isn’t exactly what you’re supposed to be doing in this moment?

If you are a parent, that is a purpose.
You were entrusted with a life to nurture, guide, and love.

If you are caring for a loved one, that is a purpose.

If you are working a job where you serve others, that is a purpose.

Helping people. Interacting with people. Showing patience, kindness, and integrity is ministry.

People don’t always need a sermon to see God.
Sometimes they see Him through how you treat them.

Purpose is not always one big, impressive thing.
It isn’t always polished, and it isn’t always pretty.

Somewhere along the way, we started shaping the purpose to fit an image of something that looks good, feels important, or gains recognition.
And because of that, many people either feel disappointed in their lives… or believe they haven’t found their purpose at all.

But if purpose doesn’t look like what you imagined, or doesn’t meet the expectations of others, you may overlook the very thing God is using right now.

Purpose isn’t always loud, glamorous, or publicly recognized.

There may be seasons where God places you in a grocery store job and not by accident, but because there are people you’re meant to encounter and lessons you’re meant to learn.

And there may be seasons where you’re called to be home, fully present for your children in a way only you can be.

Your purpose is not just one role, it's many roles that unfold across your life.

It’s not something you find once.
It’s something you live out daily.

We often want the full picture without embracing the process.

It’s like looking at a puzzle box, we see the finished image and feel excited…until we pour out the pieces and realize how much it takes to bring it together.

But the process matters.

The journey is where you grow.
Where you gain strength.
Where you learn what you’ll one day be able to share with others.

Because when you reach a new place, you’ll have a story to tell, but that story only exists because you lived through the steps.

So instead of waiting for something bigger be present in what’s already in front of you.

Do what you’re doing, but do it with intention. Know that if it’s on purpose…there is purpose in it.
