John 21:15-19

✨ Devotional Thought on John 21:15–19 ✨ After His resurrection, Jesus asked Peter three times, “Do you love Me?” Each time Peter said yes, Jesus answered with a calling: “Feed my lambs, take care of my sheep, feed my sheep.” Jesus wasn’t just forgiving Peter for denying Him—He was also restoring him and reminding him of his true purpose. Love for Christ isn’t proven by words alone but by how we care for His people: guiding, nurturing, and feeding them spiritually. But here’s the deeper insight: when Jesus asked, “Do you love me more than these?” He could have been pointing to Peter’s fishing nets—his works, his livelihood, his comfort zone. The question becomes personal for us: Do you love Jesus more than your work, your achievements, even your own plans? The call is clear: Feed My lambs → Care for God’s children.
